Kelly W. Smith
Originally from the south side of Chicago, my family later relocated to a small town in Wisconsin. I spent most of my childhood living in a house on a lake surrounded by state park land, which afforded me the opportunity of exploring the woods. Growing up in both Chicago and Wisconsin gave me an appreciation for architecture and nature. My exposure to Chicago’s architecture, along with the beauty and peacefulness of Wisconsin’s natural environment, still resonates in my life today as one of the Principals and the Vice President of Wynn-Smith Landscape Architecture, Inc.
With my experience in customer service and business administration, along with Tim’s experience in landscape architecture, we decided to establish our firm in 1993. Our vision for our company was an opportunity to combine our passions to create aesthetically pleasing and peaceful environments for people and animals alike.
I am a farmer at heart with an interest in animals, helping people, feng shui, cooking, and enjoying nature with our dog, Holly. I see our company as a family, and thus strive to facilitate smooth client transitions with the goal of making each individual feel welcomed and appreciated. My philosophy on life is to be kind to others and kindness will follow. I love that I have the freedom to do this through my everyday work.
