WSLA developed the design of this Christian Science Nursing facility to provide a place of peace for those in need of care and for the friends and family members visiting them.  It was important to us that the design reflect an uplifted thought with an expectancy of good.  To support this goal, we designed a water feature at the building entry with a quote by Mary Baker Eddy, “Pour in Truth through flood tides of Love.”  Another water feature within one of the interior courtyards quotes Psalm 36:9, “For with thee is the fountain of Life…”

Pathways meander through shaded peaceful gardens with changing color throughout the year while each private room has views to special places within the gardens.  Patients also have opportunities to sit in small intimate spaces for private conversation with a friend or in larger gathering areas with groups.
