Horses are raised and cared for on this beautiful 3 acres property with a creek running through it.  Several design concepts were developed to explore how a horse barn, a round pen, a small turn-out paddock and the concept of “paddock paradise” could be integrated into this residential property.  Just prior to preparing the construction documents, the owners sold the property.

Their horses would have moved throughout the land in a manner that emulates that of horses in the “wild” by moving through a system where water and food are at opposite ends of a trail system with naturalistic landscapes for them to traverse adding to their mental well-being.
